Warranty Registration

Two-Year Limited Warranty on Materials and Workmanship Liberty Trailers warrants all non-structural components against defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years from the date of purchase, subject to the conditions, limitations and exclusions noted below: • Powder Coat Finish: Liberty Trailers warrants its paint finish to be consistent with industry standards for twelve (12) months from the purchase date. - Warrantable paint repairs are limited to spot repairs and blending consistent with industry standards. Deterioration due to use or exposure, such as chipping, scratching, fading, crack in caulk seam, or deterioration from road rash, road salt, tar, chemical damage, and shipping strap damage are not acceptable reasons for warranty repair. - Rust streaking originating from areas where it is virtually impossible to achieve total powder coat coverage, i.e. behind rub rails or where two or more metals adjoin, are consistent with industry standards and are not covered by this Limited Warranty.
• Lumber: Liberty Trailers warrants all lumber components to be consistent with industry-standards for ninety (90) days from the purchase date. • Any trailer used as a rental unit or as part of a rental combination with rental equipment is warranted for a total of ninety (90) days from the date of original purchase. Claims under this warranty must be reported to an authorized Liberty Trailers dealer or Liberty Trailers Customer Service immediately and will be resolved within a reasonable time after the trailer is returned to an approved repair facility. Liberty Trailers will repair or replace any parts or components found to be defective due to faulty materials or workmanship at its discretion. Liberty Trailer’s sole obligation and Buyer’s sole remedy under this limited warranty is repair or replacement at Liberty’s election.
All warranty repairs must be pre-authorized by Liberty Trailers in writing and are subject to commercially reasonable labor rates and material costs. All authorized warranty repairs must use factory authorized replacement parts unless otherwise agreed by Liberty Trailers. Transportation costs to and from the approved repair facility and associated costs are not covered by this Limited Warranty and will not be reimbursed.
THE EXPRESS WARRANTIES SET FORTH HEREIN ARE THE EXCLUSIVE WARRANTIES OF LIBERTY TRAILERS, AND NO OTHER WARRANTY, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR USE OR PURPOSE, SHALL APPLY.
This Limited Warranty is not transferrable and extends only to the first retail purchaser. If the product is transferred or sold by the first retail purchaser, the express warranties provided herein are void. This Limited Warranty is only extended to trailers manufactured January 01, 2024 and later.
EXCLUSIONS FROM COVERAGE The following are not covered under this warranty:
• Third-Party Components: Parts like brakes, lights, couplers, wheels, tires, and hydraulic systems are covered by their original manufacturers’ warranties and are excluded from this warranty.
•Wear and Tear: Normal wear items such as paint, brake linings, tires, flooring, hinges, and bearings will not be replaced due to wear.
•Damage Caused by: Negligence, misuse, overload, or accidents as well as corrosive materials, pressure washing, or road salt.
•Modifications, repairs or alterations without Liberty Trailers’ prior written authorization.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY Liberty Trailers’ total liability for any claim under this warranty is limited to the original purchase price of the trailer. Liberty Trailers is not responsible for special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of use, revenue, or towing costs.
The remedies provided for in this Limited Warranty are exclusive, and the total liability of Liberty Trailers to any purchaser, whether based on contract, warranty, tort, strict liability or otherwise, shall not exceed the purchase price of the trailer giving rise to the claim.
IN NO EVENT, WHETHER BASED ON OR ARISING UNDER CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, SHALL LIBERTY TRAILERS BE LIABLE TO PURCHASER OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OF ANY KIND OR CHARACTER (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF USE, REVENUE, PROFITS, OR WAGES, INVENTORY OR USE CHARGES, TOWING CHARGES, TRANSPORTATION OR SHIPPING COSTS, FUEL COSTS, LODGING OR MEALS, COST OF CAPITAL, AND CLAIMS BY CUSTOMERS).
DISPUTE RESOLUTION The rights and obligations of the parties under this Limited Warranty shall be interpreted and governed in all respects in accordance with the laws of the State of Indiana, USA, exclusive of any choice of law rules or provisions. Any dispute arising out of or related to this Limited Warranty which is not resolved by the parties informally shall be adjudicated exclusively in the courts of Putnam County, Indiana, USA.
WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE All warranty claims must be processed through an authorized Liberty Trailers dealer. To begin a warranty claim, please contact your nearest authorized dealer, which can be located at LibertyTrailers.com/find-a-dealer.
IMPORTANT: Online registration of your trailer is required within 30 days from the date of first retail purchase to activate warranty coverage. Register at LibertyTrailers.com/warranty-registration. Failure to complete registration within this timeframe will void all express warranties outlined in this document, except where prohibited by law.
If you identify an issue with your Liberty Trailer, you must bring it to an authorized Liberty Trailers dealer within five (15) days of discovering the problem for inspection.
If the dealer is unable to resolve the issue free of charge, and you wish to make a claim under this Limited Warranty, the dealer must submit a Warranty Claim Form to Liberty Trailers via email, or through the Liberty Trailers Warranty Center within ten (10) days of initial review of the issue, including all required details. These include, but are not limited to:
• Trailer Model
• Trailer VIN
• Original Bill of Sale
• Description of issue
• Photos of defective parts/areas
Liberty Trailers will acknowledge receipt of the claim to both the dealer and claimant, either verbally or in writing. We will review the claim and respond promptly, no later than thirty (30) days after receipt.
If defective parts need to be replaced under this warranty, they must be shipped to Liberty Trailers via prepaid freight. All defective parts must be returned within thirty (30) days of approval to qualify for replacement.
Repairs or adjustments to a Liberty Trailer will not be reimbursed without prior written approval from Liberty Trailers. We reserve the right to decline reimbursement for unreasonable repair costs and may establish reasonable limits for reimbursement at our discretion.
