Big THANK YOU to Louie and the team over at Prairie Wind in Harrisburg! They didn’t have exactly what I needed in stock but went the extra mile to find it for me. Louie was super friendly and very easy to work with. Their customer service has always been fantastic. If you’re looking for a trailer, I highly recommend them!

Recently took my work trailer to Prairie Wind trailers for some much needed love. The service guys over there redid my entire suspension and repacked my bearings. The service guys also completed a thorough inspection, in which they replaced my breakaway cable too. They were able to complete all this in one day! I will continue to have my trailer worked on over here. Thanks Aaron and thanks prairie wind service team

We purchased our 2025 H&H Topline Car Hauler back in October of 2024 and it has served us great in the 8 months that we've had it! Brandon was an excellent salesman to deal with and made the process very easy on our end! Trailer was fairly customized and came as ordered.

Would highly recommend!

I recently purchased an enclosed trailer from Prairie Wind Trailers and had the pleasure of working with Brandon, who was an excellent salesperson. He went above and beyond by staying late to accommodate my schedule, which I truly appreciated. Brandon was courteous and made the purchasing process smooth and straightforward.

However, a few days after bringing the trailer home, I noticed that one of the taillights had cracked plastic. I contacted Brandon, who assured me they would cover the repair under warranty without any issues. When I next visited the Harrisburg location, I spoke with the service manager, who was unfortunately unaware of my situation and seemed rushed, making the interaction feel inconvenient. After explaining the issue, I was provided with a replacement light and told the repair would be simple to do myself. Since I’m fairly handy, I decided to handle the fix on my own.

When I attempted the repair over the weekend, I found the process much more complicated than expected. I reached out to Brandon again, who was helpful and suggested that someone at the Hartford division might be able to assist me after hours, which would work better with my 8-to-5 job schedule.

However, when I contacted the Hartford store, the manager seemed unaware of the situation and expressed that after-hours warranty work would be considered “going above and beyond” for their staff, who have families and need to leave on time. While I completely respect the employees’ personal time, I felt the response fell short of what I would expect for a warranty repair on a trailer less than two weeks old. The manager also mentioned that the arrangement should be reciprocal, implying I should be more willing to take time off work in exchange for the warranty service.

Overall, I want to emphasize that Brandon provided excellent service and was very helpful throughout this process. My concerns lie with management and staff attitudes that made me feel like a burden for requesting assistance with a brand-new trailer issue. Moving forward, I hope Prairie Wind addresses these customer service challenges to ensure future clients have a more positive experience. Given this situation, I will likely explore other local trailer dealers in Mitchell when I am next in the market.

Update: I did have the owner of Prairie Wind reach out to apologize for everything. He mentioned he addressed this with his guys which I appreciate. Owner seemed friendly and said that what I experienced was not how they did business and that he was surprised it had happened. He was also able to get me in one evening after work to fix the issue so that was appreciated. I am much happier now that the trailer is fixed so I can use it.

This shop is great. Needed to replace the brakes on a travel trailer mid-trip unfortunately. They were able to get us in first thing that morning and have us back on the road by the end of the day. Very fair pricing and from what I can tell so far the work was excellent. I would trust them to service my trailer any time I come through town again!

Why Liberty Trailers?

Liberty has been building commercial-grade trailers in America since 1998. Every trailer rolls out of one of our two U.S. facilities — Fillmore, Indiana and Sulphur Springs, Texas — with 7-gauge steel floors, Dexter axles, a Sherwin-Williams Powdura finish, and 13 color options to match your fleet.

In 2024, we were awarded the NATDA Customer Service Excellence Award and named a 2025 Manufacturer of the Year finalist. With 10,000+ trailers on the road and a dealer network built on trust, Liberty is the trailer that works as hard as you do.

I bought a 2025 22 ft tilt deck trailer in April of 2025 with a spare tire mount. I was comparing this trailer to a Diamond C trailer which was a couple grand more. I went with this trailer because it seemed like it was built similar but being a couple thousand less so it was worth a try. The trailer had some cosmetic damage to the axle bearing cover which the trailer sales place fixed before I drove away. During my drive home I noticed the spare tire moved back and forth pretty far and would even sway outside the width of the trailer. I spoke to the trailer sales place and they mentioned they would run it through Liberty. After no results from the sales place I reached out to Liberty myself. I had some issues with one of the employees in getting results and through this review Mike with Liberty reached out to me wanting to make it right.

UPDATE:
This Friday 3/6 I will bring the trailer to them. I will post another update afterwards but it appears that the right thing is about to happen.

UPDATE:
I just picked up the trailer today (3/9). Mike was a man of his word and made it right. They did a great job welding on a spare tire mount and it is solid. They also took the time to repair the paint damage from the incorrect mount being installed.
Response from the owner:I'm glad we were able to get the situation resolved for you. We apologize for the miscommunication initially and will always stand behind the trailers we manufacture. Thank you, John!
Bought my 20' 10k car trailer back in 2021 and it's been an absolutely awesome trailer so far. Hauled cars, tractors, and plenty of other random things without issue. Definitely a well made and if anything overbuilt trailer.
All i can say is this is a stand up company and I've never done any business with them.

There is another company named liberty trailers of Texas that has sold me a bad unsafe trailer. I accidentally put the wrong review on this company and apologize.

Mr. Mike Teso CEO of this company took his time to reach out to me and give me guidance on the company name.
I appreciate you Mike and wish you and your company success and fulfillment to provide great trailers to great people.
Response from the owner:Thanks so much, Justin! I’m happy we were able to get the miscommunication sorted out. If you ever need a model of trailer that we produce (not boat trailers 😉), you know where to find us!
I have owned my Liberty Car Hauler for 10 plus years and it has been a trusted piece of equipment on our farm. Still holding up well
Liberty builds a very solid trailer! Best in the state of Indiana! I highly recommend you pick yourself one up.
I have to give my 2016 liberty car hauler trailer alot of credit cause it has took on everything that I've needed to haul with it from hay on the farm to antique farm tractors and equipment to multiple vehicles to firewood to all kinds of other stuff this trailer has more than paid for it self. The only problem I had with it was the first time I went to load a pickup truck on it the ramps bent but asides for that it's been a great trailer I'm hoping within the next year to replace both fenders cause they have took a beating but they keep doing their job. If I ever have to replace it I would seriously look for another liberty trailer
Response from the owner:Jonathan. You’ve summarized everything we stand for. It makes us proud when we hear stories from customers that tell us their Liberty from many years ago, even the late 90’s, is still holding up. We’ve reinforced all car hauler ramps by the way. Whatever you need, just give us a call.
I purchased a Liberty dump trailer last year and wanted to give it some time before leaving a review. I have put this thing through hell and back and it still works and looks brand new. Kudos to this company for making American made products the right way!
Response from the owner:Thank you, Travis. Godspeed to you.
I live in Texas where we have some great trailers. I came across a Liberty 14K dump trailer and bought it one year ago. I’ve always had Diamond C trailers. This Liberty is hands down the best built trailer I’ve ever owned.
Response from the owner:That’s saying something! We will continue to do our best work. Good luck, Jason.
I bought a Liberty utility trailer and couldn't be happier with my purchase. The fit and finish is top notch.
Response from the owner:We’re glad you like it and that makes us proud to do what we do. Thank you, Nick!
Really nice 👌
Response from the owner:Thanks, John! Best of luck to you.
Great designed and built trailer and love the quality steel. Had a custom ordered utility trailer. Didn’t miss a thing and very well built. I did research on many brands of trailers before I bought this. What stood out to me is the standard 2 axle brakes VS only one axle or paying extra for both axles. Worked with Mike and understood my needs and took care of me! Very much respected and appreciated. Will be buying more in the future.
Response from the owner:Ryan - thank you. We strive to make quality our main priority and I’m glad that you recognized that. Good luck and let us know if you need anything at anytime.
I have purchased two trailers from Liberty and have been completely satisfied with them!
Response from the owner:Thank you, Alex! We will continue our focus on building the highest quality commercial-grade trailers to satisfy our loyal customers like you.
Great to work with. Knows there products very well.
Response from the owner:Thanks, William. Let us know what you need at any time!
I just had an excellent experience with this place. Not only they had the part I needed, the courteous service was appreciated.
Response from the owner:Ed, we're very happy you came to visit us. Please come and see us again for all of your trailer needs!
